Breathing Controls

The C370 gives the diver direct control over breathing characteristics. The inhalation-effort knob can be adjusted to change the amount of effort required to initiate airflow, while the coaxial VIVA dive/pre-dive lever controls Venturi assistance. Together, these controls allow the regulator to be tuned for comfortable breathing underwater while helping reduce unwanted free flow when the regulator is not being used.

Compact & Travel-Friendly Design

The C370 uses a compact reinforced technopolymer casing to reduce size and weight without giving up diver-adjustable controls. At approximately 6 oz / 171 g for the second stage, it is well suited for divers who want to minimize bulk in both their dive kit and travel bag.

Interchangeable Color Frames

The redesigned C370 accepts SCUBAPRO's diver-changeable color frames. The White C370 comes with a standard white frame, while optional Graphite, Blue, Yellow, Turquoise, Pink, and White replacement frames are sold separately.

Compatibility Note: The current snap-on C370 color frames are designed for the redesigned C370 and are not compatible with earlier C370 models that use a metal front frame.

FAQs

Is this a complete regulator system?
No. This listing is for the Scubapro C370 second stage regulator only. A compatible first stage is required to create a complete regulator system.

What does an air-balanced second stage do?
An air-balanced valve helps keep inhalation effort more consistent as cylinder pressure and depth change, providing smoother breathing throughout the dive.

What does the inhalation adjustment knob do?
The adjustment knob allows the diver to increase or decrease the effort required to initiate airflow, making it possible to fine-tune the regulator's breathing characteristics.

What is VIVA?
VIVA stands for Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist. The C370's dive/pre-dive lever lets the diver control this airflow assistance, providing stronger Venturi support while diving and helping reduce unwanted free flow at the surface.

Can I change the color of the C370?
Yes. The redesigned C370 accepts optional snap-on color frames. This White C370 comes with a white frame, while additional colors are sold separately.

Do the new color frames fit older C370 regulators?
No. SCUBAPRO states that the current snap-on color frames are not compatible with previous C370 models that use a metal frame.

Expert Insight

The C370 is a strong choice for divers who want a compact second stage without giving up breathing adjustment. Its air-balanced design, inhalation-effort control, adjustable VIVA, lightweight casing, and Hi-Flow mouthpiece give it the features expected from a full-performance primary regulator while keeping the overall package small and travel friendly. The redesigned interchangeable frame system also makes it easy to personalize or identify your regulator without changing the second stage itself.
