Is this a photo/video light?
No. The Mini 1600S is designed as a dive flashlight with a narrow beam for long-range visibility. It is not intended to replace a wide-beam underwater photo or video light.

Can it be used as a primary dive light?
Yes. Its 1,600-lumen output makes it an excellent primary light for recreational night dives and an ideal backup light for more advanced diving.

What batteries can I use?
Use only protected button-top 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries with a minimum capacity of 3500mAh and a minimum 3.5A discharge current. Do not use CR123 batteries or flat-top 18650 batteries.

Can I mount this light to an underwater camera tray?
Yes. An optional SeaLife YS Mount Adapter (SL98104), sold separately, allows the light to be mounted to compatible underwater imaging systems.

Care & Maintenance

After each dive, rinse the light thoroughly in fresh water while operating the power button several times to flush away salt and debris. Allow the light to dry completely before opening the battery compartment.
