Overview

Ready to take your diving skills to the next level in San Diego? House of Scuba offers the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, designed to enhance your underwater abilities and expand your dive adventures. Before joining us, students must complete a medical questionnaire and the PADI e-learning course. As part of the course, you'll complete five Adventure Dives, including a Deep Dive and an Underwater Navigation Dive. You’ll also do 2 dives from a boat exploring one of California's biggest and most popular wrecks, the HMCS Yukon! Once certified, you'll be qualified to dive to 100 feet and explore a wider range of underwater environments.

Class Schedule

• Saturday: Meet at 7:00 AM at La Jolla Shores for 2 dives, then a night dive at the same location starting between 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, depending on the season.
• Sunday: Meet at Marissa Charters at 8:00 AM for 2 boat dives 

Requirements

• E-learning must be completed prior to your first dive
• Minimum Age: 12 years old.
• PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification from another recognized agency.

What’s Included & What You’ll Need

Included:

• Instruction from certified PADI professionals
• 2 dive boat ticket on Marissa Charters
• Tanks and weights provided on boat day only

Required (Student-Provided):

• SCUBA gear: Wetsuit, BCD, Regulator, 3 Tanks for Saturday, Weights, Computer, Dive Light (also available to rent for duration of course)
• Personal gear: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Booties, Gloves, Hood (also available to rent for duration of course)
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver E-learning Course

Your Next Adventure

After completing the Adventures in Diving course, increase your diving skills and explore new underwater environments by taking the Rescue Diver Course.
