Overview
San Diego offers some of the most spectacular diving in the world, but the water can be chilly. Want to stay warm and toasty on a dive? Then you want to dive dry! Unlike a wetsuit, a dry suit seals you off from the water, keeping you comfortable even in surprisingly cold conditions.
Dry suits let you explore more challenging dive sites, extend your dive season, and enjoy the generally better visibility often found during winter months—especially at inland dive sites such as quarries, lakes, sinkholes, and caves. With this specialty, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to explore incredible dive destinations in cooler regions year-round.
